Uniforms

Our choir’s appearance, as well as its sound, is important in presenting a professional and artistic performance. Members must wear the complete and correct uniform for performances and adhere to performance appearance policy.

Performance Appearance Policy

  • The choir uniform should fit properly and be clean, pressed, and in good repair.
  • Shirts should be tucked in neatly and tightly so that the waistband on the skirt or the belt on the pants is entirely visible.
  • Hair must be groomed away from the face.
  • Barrettes, narrow headbands, and elastic bands that match hair color may be used. However, no colorful bows, ribbons, barrettes, or noticeable ornamentation are allowed.
  • No unusual color hair dye or obvious make-up is permitted.
  • No noticeable jewelry is permitted. Stud earrings will be allowed (no more than two per ear).
  • No gum.

Uniforms

Casual

A CICC logo shirt, ordered through CICC, is required for all choir members. Singers wear the logo shirts for special rehearsals and for casual performances. The logo shirt may also be worn any time as part of a singer’s everyday wardrobe. (In fact, we encourage it!) Payment must be submitted with the shirt order form.

Concert Dress

Purchasing the concert dress uniform is the singer’s responsibility. Specific uniform requirements are listed below for each choir. Do not delay if a new uniform needs to be purchased because some items may not be in stock. Concert dress uniforms for Music Makers and Concert Choir can be purchased at:
